I'm looking for a way to get down a mountain a little bigger than the grand canyon. It takes about six hours by foot using trails that barely exist and maybe two feet wide.

An about how much would you think it would cost. I thought maybe several rope ladders but might not be best because of length issues.

Food and backpacks would also be carried down.

Here is a picture of what im talking about. COPPER CANYON

What do you think would be best.

Unless you are EXTREMELY SKILLED, EXPERT rock-climbers, with lots of experience in that particular geography, DON'T EVEN THINK of going down the slope on anything but the trails. If the trails aren't all that great, then perhaps you should find something else to do altogether.

I'm confused...are you writing about a canyon or a mountain?

Why don't you just walk down on the trail? Other options (climbing, flying down, etc.) would either be too cslow or too costly.

Enjoy the hike.
