Well I did this lab and need help because I am so confused I used a spectrometer and a helium lamp. I have to calculate d=m*wavelength / sin theta. For violet the left angle is 172 and 20 minutes and the right angle is 187 and 15 minutes and the wavelegth is 447.2 nanometers. What I don't understand is that how do I get m (integer that refers to the order of diffraction)? And when dividing by sin theta (180 degrees) do I change it to radians? Please if you have ever done this lab or know someone who has taken physics could you ask them.

Simplify: Sqrt20/5 -1/sqrt 5 = (√5 x√20-5)/(5x√5)=1/√5

Simplify: Sqrt1/6 = √(1=) 1= 1/6

Simplify: 9Sqrt6 - 9 Sqrt2= 9√6-9√2=9√2 (√3-1)

Simplify: 3 Sqrt486= 3√486= 3√81 x√6=27√6
if this is correct is this what they are looking for? Thank you all for your input.

Just finished my Biology project, and now we have another! Yay.

So here is what I know, which isn't much and quite possibly wrong:

AMP =First
ADP =Second
ATP =Third (Triphosphate?)

I also know that they store energy.. but I know nothing about that. So how does the cell use this energy, and what exactly is it? Also how do you go from say a ADP to an ATP.. Or an ATP to a ADP (is going from 3 to 2 even possible)?

The section in the book was very confusing. So please.. explain to me the wonders of ATP and what their role is in a cell. I don't need to go very in depth, just generally what they do and how they are useful to the cell.

And please don't use big scientific words. They make life bad.

Edit: The teacher mentioned something about this in a past class. He said that cells want to have energy stored so the cell can use it when it needs it and not just use it all at once and not have anything after. Is that a reason why it's useful? W/e, explain please!

I'm looking for some simple examples of the combined gas law; I need one or two more examples. I was try ing to make an example (for a short paper) of blowing up a ballon, but I can not correlate the variables in the equation for this example.
