In March 2007, Daylight Saving Time (DST) provisions of the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005 passed by the U.S. Congress in July 2005 and signed into law by President George W. Bush on 8 August 2005 took effect. Daylight Savings Time (DST) began on 11 March 2007, which was three weeks earlier. DST will also end one week later on 04 November 2007. This period resulted in a DST that is four weeks longer.

I think it idiotic just like our president. It's 7:00am and it won't get light out until 8:00, this can't be good for the morning commute. My 4 year old won't get out of bed until the sun comes out "but mommy it's still night." Who needs extra daylight at night right now I could use some in the morning. Sorry for the rant..good morning all
