I'm having some problems with this problem. Could someone please assist me? Thank you so much!

A dart gun is fired while being held horizontally at a height of .816 m above ground level, and at rest relative to the ground. The dart from the gun travels a horizontal distance of 7.65 m. A child holds the same gun in a horizontal position while sliding down a 45.8 degree incline at a constant speed of 1.94 m/s. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2.

What horizontal distance x will the dart travel if the child fires the gun forward when it is .539 m above the ground? Answer in units of m.

I believe the more our space travels the more our planet earth will cold. why????
consider the the equation F = Gm1m2 / r2 which is newtons law of gravity.
let us assume m1 = mass of the earth.
my theory suggests that as we take matter in the form spaceship parts , satelites and even human beings off the earth and leave them in space, this mass ,m1 in the Newtons equation will reduce causing the centripetal force between the earth and the sun also to do the same.this wil mean that our planet is falling into the far and cold just like pluto .

what do you think? can I be right? let me know.

Falls resulting in hip fractures are a major cause of injury and even death to the elderly. Typically, the hip's speed at impact is about 2.0 m/s. I this can be reduced to 1.3 m/s or less, the hip will not fracture. One way to do the is by wearing elastic hip pads. (a) if a typical pad is 5.0 cm thick and compresses by 2.0 cm during the impact of a fall, what acceleration in m/s^2 and g's) does the hip undergo to reduce its speed to 1.3 m/s? (B) The acceleration you found in part (a) may seem like a rather large acceleration, but to fully assess its effects on the hip, calculate how long it lasts.

I'm really confused about this problem. I have broken it down into components (x, x initial, etc.), but I seem to not have enough info. If someone could please assist me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

A coyote is chasing a roadrunner. While running down the road, they come to a deep gorge, 15 m straight across and 110 m deep. The roadrunner launches itself across the gorge at a launch angle of 11 degrees above the horizontal, and lands with 2.5 m to spare. The acceleration of gravity is 9.81 m/s^2.

What was the roadrunner's launch speed? Ignore air resistance. Answer in units of m/s.

Two straight railways converge to a level crossing at an angle α and two trains are moving towards the crossing with velocities u and v. If a and b are the intial distances of the trains from the crossing, show that their least distance apart will be:-
{(av-bu)sin α}/{(u^2+v^2-2uvcos α)^1/2}

I know carbocation stability proceeds tert>sec>prim, but does that mean carbanions are opposite?

one more detail. My problem is showing a butane with a lone pair on the second carbon. I have to compare relative stabilities with a CH2 substituent on a cyclohexane. I need to know WHY one or the other is less stable.

I know consumption increases with rpm, but in what proportions does it increase? Is it linear, e.g 2000 rpm is double the consumption of 1000. Or is it in the degree of 2 or something, like 4000rpm uses 4 times the petrol of 2000 beacuse it doubled. I know its a bit of a random question but there you go...

I have to integrate x/(2-x) dx.
I've tried everything I can think of and I can't figure it out. I think I might be missing something really simple. Or maybe not =\.
Anyway, help is appreciated.
