What can you tell about me - any impressions, messages for me, any information about possible past lives? This is for fun so just use your intuition and tell me what you get. I'm curious to see the responses. :-P

I understand the concept that ground is the zero voltage reference point with respect to the rest of the circuit, but with the ground disconnected, will the circuit continue to function?

I was playing a bit with an small circuit, but I found out, even with ground disconnected, the circuit continues to work? Is this really the case or not? What's the reasoning behind this?

I was trying to justify it by thinking that the circuit continues to work because the electrons in the circuit haven't yet accumulated up to the point where the voltage would to equal. But that reasoning sounds pretty dubious because of how fast electrons move.

So what would be the logical explanation for the circuit to continue to function? thanks.

My friend normally takes melatonin when she's trying to get to sleep. I know that 3 mg is the proper dosage. However, my friend took 6 mg the other night. I was slightly concerned. Should I be worried? Or is melatonin not harmful whatsoever if you just double the normal supplement?

How long would it take an average adult male to die from Carbon Monoxide poisoning by charcoal burning from a small grill or something similar (as has become popular in Japan in recent years), and is there an equation for calculating this (even a rough one will do)? Note: I AM -NOT- suicidal. This is for a summer paper (fictional story) I'm writing for my psychology class, in which a character attempts to kill himself in this manner. The catch is, EVERYTHING has to be scientifically accurate, and I have to be able to prove it. Most of the story is done except for this scene's details, which is pretty much the only part I'm having trouble with. As far as other variables go, I'm going to say this is in a small room (say 6x12 ft.), with little to no ventilation. Again, I am NOT suicidal. Thanks.

Back in high school, my counselor refused to let me take physics without taking pre-calculus. Now that I'm in college, I need to take physics for my intended major. I intend to take calculus, but is it okay if I take both classes at the same time or do you recommend I take calculus first before taking a physics class?
