There are about 5000 species of snails.
Let me name a few for you.
Lymnaea--freshwater snail
Helix--garden snail
Achatina fulica--giant African land snail
Gonaxis-- predaceous snail
Pila globosa- Apple snail

i don't know that, but to get rid of them, just pour some salt on top of them.
