the problem is

How can variables give you new information? Supposed Mr. Titelbaum's class has b boys and g girls

a) Mr. Titelbaum noticed that b + g = 23.
b) If b = g - 3, how many girls are in Mr. Titelbaum's class?

I Copied this right from my math book

Distance from the Earth to the Sun:

It follows from Kepler's Third Law of planetary motion that the average distance from a planet to the sun (in meters) is:

d = ((GM/(4pi^2))^(1^3) * T^(2/3)

where M = 1.99 * 10^30 kg is the mass of the sun, G = 6.67 * 10^(-11) N * m^2/kg^2 is the gravitational constant, and T is the period of the planet's orbit(in seconds) Use the fact that the period of the earth's orbit is about 365.25 days to find the distance from the earth to the sun

I know the equations seems confusing the way I typed it out, I did the best I could but the answer I got was D = 1.4956 * 10^14

I think this is close because I looked up stuff and found the number 1.495987 * 10^11 (I dont know if this is right)

So maybe there was some kind of problem with adding/subtracting exponents? AHHH

i have an exam tomorrow and i'm sort of confused.

it says:

solve for y: 5+2(x+y)=11

and i have to create a product and a sum
and i forget how to do it
but the product looks like (variable+number)(variable+number) or someting like that
please help :(

Currently I am on 300 mg of effexor xr, I took it before but at I believe 150 mg gradually increasesd to 225mg with relatively no troubles except severe withdraw when I would forget for more than a day to take it, severe enough to find myself in the emergency room swearing whatever was wrong was going tot kill me. I went off for a period, but as my life went haywire with divorce, surviving a sexual assault at work, a major relocation with a career move that turned out not to be what was presented I was put back on it and at the current dose of 300mg. Basically it has made me a more tolerable person to others, but I have gained 80 pounds, fatigue, and have become unable to work any longer do to the severe muscle pain and fatigue. I've lost all labido as well. I also have very severe effects if I miss even a dose now, headaches, severe nausia, dizziness, brain shivers, extreme weakness. Does anyone else out there relate? Is it me or the medicine? Are there better alternatives to try?
