Yes of course, but they do not need it. They use the same technique as used in the magnetic resonance imaging scanners found in hospitals. A radio signal is interlaced in a uniform magnetic field and the radio signal is absorbed in to all atoms of odd atomic numbers. So instead of transmitting your data by wire they just look whats on the memory array of the microchip. Yes, but they have the new USB-X 3.5 standard so you have to get all your devices upgraded before you go.
