I'm doing a botany experiment and on the instruction sheet it said that I had to include a description of my methodology in paragraph form.

My experiment is on if plants grown with red, or blue light grew better then if they grew with only white light[control group].
I found that although the plants grown with white light had a higher survival rate then any other group, the red group had the highest average height and # of leaves.

How do you think my "methodology" should look like?
Please help.
I really appreciate it.

Another problem I don't get is: -41a+10+21a^2

Time can be found in numerous equations in different branches of science. It is a physical variable, definitely, but what is it actually like?

We can measure "time" with the count of some events which have some standard frequences. But what are the other features of time - if there are any at all? Can we found them, or should we regard "time" as a variable with unknown charasterictic features?

I was at a local nature preserve last fall and was looking for monarc caterpillars on the milkweed, and found large areas of the milkweed destroyed by huge grasshoppers. I though milkweed was poisonus to most insects.

If a ball is thrown vertically upward from a height of 6 ft, with an initial velocity of 64 ft/s, its height h after t seconds is given by h = -16t^2 + 64t + 6. How long does it take the ball to reach a height of 38 ft on the way up?

Here's what I have so far and I'm stumped.

-16t^2+64t+6=38 subtract 38 from both sides
-16t^2+64t-32=0 factor out the 16
16(t^2-4t+2)=0 now what?
