Every one saw it, but they are saying it could have been a weather phenomenon. Are we blind or stupid???

Which is more likely, that it was a weather phenomenon, or hyper intelligent beings travelled 700 million lightyears to scope out our planet? Before we say something is out of this world, we are obligated to make certain it is not in this world.
