I really could use some help on this problem. Thanks for any help on it! This is a college physics problem.

If the system (shown in the figure linked below) is set in rotation about each of the axes listed below, find the torque that will produce an angular acceleration of 2.7 rad/s2 in each case.

I had jus finished eating most of a bowl full of cereal, when I discovered it had several dead ants in it. I fear that I may have eaten quite a bit of these feral insects. The thing is, I didn't notice them at the beginning because it was a chocolate flavored cereal and I didn't pay much attention to these little dark bits floating around. Boy was I surprised when I looked a little closer!!!!!

I'm not even sure where to begin.

To help study damage to an aircraft that collide with birds you design a test gun that will accelertae chicken sized objects so that their displacement along the gun barrel is given by
X=(9.0*10^3m/s^2)t^2-(8.0*10^4m/s^3)t^3
The object leaves the end of the barrel at t=0.03 s.

a) How long must the gun barrel be.
b) What will be the speed of the object as they leave the end of the barrel.
c)What net force must be exerted on a 1.5kg object at t=0.03s.

Suppose a manufacturer can sell x items per week at a price p(x) = 200 - 0.01*x cents, and that it costs C(x) = 50*x + 20,000 cents to produce the x items. What is the production level for maximum profits?
(My Calculus professor put this question on the board this morning and I could not understand her explanation at all! Maybe I was too tired, but her accent is just tooo thick. I also am having trouble understanding the wording. Thanks for the help!!)

The sun's output of visible light stays pretty steady, it stays within 1% of its current value for the past 100 years or so. However, the sun's maximum X-ray output can be as much as 10 times greater than its minimum output. WHY CAN THE CHANGES IN X-RAY OUTPUT BE SO MUCH MORE PRONOUNCED THAN THOSE IN THE OUTPUT OF VISIBLE LIGHT?

A 31.0 kg block is connected to an empty 1.00 kg bucket by a cord running over a frictionless pulley (Fig. 4-57). The coefficient of static friction between the table and the block is 0.425 and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the table and the block is 0.320. Sand is gradually added to the bucket until the system just begins to move.
