i feel stupid around my teacher when i asked this...then two weeks ago it hit me that it is obvious....but now i forgot again and can't see it. Can anyone offer an explanation that will clear up my confusion in a way where i will remember it?

String theory and religious or spiritual experience?

If one had an understanding of string theory, might it have an effect on an understanding of one's religious or spiritual experience?

Would it be supportive? antagonistic? neutral?

Would it illuminate? clarify? or complicate?

There have always been scientists who are believers (in one religious faith or another). I wonder how they would respond to this issue.
