Yes, start with your blood type....for example 0+,

now check your siblings (brother & sisters)
now check your parents....and see who's blood everyone has!

Now check your grandparents, and/or your aunts...if available.
It's amazing how many people do not know what their blood type is!

A very basic experiment that you can do is to take a cuttings from plants (say rose bushs) root the cutings and when they grows the flowers will be the same color as the parent plant. Of course you would do more then one color to prove they were from different plants. I hope that is clear :)
