If an alumnium sheet is held between the poles of a large bar magnet, it requires some force to pull it out of the magnetic field even though Al is not ferromagnetic and does not touch the poles.
Why?

(I was thinking thatmovement of the metal in a magnetic field induces an emf in theopposite direction...Yes? No?)

My question is:

Whenever I start to date someone that I REALLY like, I lose my appetite and become full very quickly from eating. Why does my body do that? What chemical is produced in the body when you are attracted to someone that would change eating habits?? I'm really curious. Please don't say that it is nerves because I don't get nervous around this person. Also, don't say that girls are embarrassed of eating in front of men because that's not true either. I want to know the CHEMICALS that are being produced when you are "in love."

I have been utilizing the following formula in excel. Now that it is closer to the new year I need to add the year as well as the month. this is my current formula.

=IF(MONTH(B21) = 1,SUM(D21+E21+F21+G21),0)
so I need to add if month/year = 2007 then sum....etc.

I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks!
