Consecutive odd integers are two apart, like 5 and 7. So set up your sides as x, x + 2, x + 4 and x + 6.

The perimeter is the sum of the sides, so add them up.
4x + 12 = 104
4x = 92
x = 23
The other sides are 25, 27 and 29.

Consecutive odd integers would be numbers like 5,7,9,11 (since you need four of them).

So you could use x as the first integer, then use x+2 (5+2=7), then use x+4 (5+4=9) and lastly use x+6 (5+6=11).

If the perimeter is 104 feet add up all the sides and set equal to 104.

(x) + (x+2) + (x+4) + (x+6) = 104

Now solve for x.

Hope this helps. :)

Four sides that are consecutive odd intergers added together to equal 104 can be written as:

104=(n+1)+(n+3)+(n+5)+(n+7)=4n+16

Solve for n and you get 22

So, 23+25+27+29=104

104=x+x+2+x+4+x+6 to find x
104=4x+12 combine the right side
104-12=4x+12-12 subtract 12 from both sides
92=4x divide both sides by 4
92/4=4x/4
23=x
the first side is 23, next is 25, next is 27 the final side is 29

This is assuming that cosecutive means odd numbers in a row.
