i understood ur ques
16 = 4^2 = 4 (x^2 = x given)
3*4-1=11
12-1=11
so its 1. 16

Well we have a problem here.

You can solve the first equation
3x-1 = 11
Add one to both sides then divide that answer by three to get the value of x.

However, I think you hit a few too many wrong keys in the second part of your problem for me to understand what you're asking about. So, if you go back and retype it life might be better for those of us trying to help.
