For an Earthly observer to be able to see 100% of the illuminated surface of the Moon at any given time, it should be required that the Sun be directly behind them from their position. In which case the Moon will be in the shadow of the Earth.
Is it that we are only ever able to truly view 99% of this illuminated area, but that we simply say that it is "full"?
Or is there a variable I have failed to consider?

Thanks for your time.

I do know that time is based around the number 6.
60 secs in a minute
60 mins in a hour
4x6 hours in a day
366 leap year days divides into 6
12 months a year divides into 6

Why not have 100 seconds in a minute.
100 minutes in an hour
10 hours a day
10 days a week
the rest work out yourselves.

Just change the length of the seconds, minutes, hours etc. so they fit together metrically

Juz wanna ask a question about immunology. Was studying immunology these few days, as it is one of my exam topics for Biology. our immune system produces antibodies in the presence of antigens, until one of them is able to fit the protein of the antigen. i noe that for the first exposure to the antigen, it would take some time. however, why is it that diseases like cancer cannot be countered by the body's immune system?

The total time available to do a certain job is 3 hours. After one machine has been working on this job for 1 hour, another machine which would have taken half as many hours to do the job alone was brought in. it was put to work with the first machine, and the job was finished exactly on time. How many hours would it have taken the first machine to do the job alone?

It is easy to see that earthquakes have become more and more frequent and strong. This made me think; what if it is because the Earth's core is cooling, causing the plates to collide together because the Earth would also be shrinking (minutely, but over huge distances) as the core cools. We all know that planetary cores eventually cool. If Earth's core is indeed cooling and eventually solidifies, what effect will this have on the human race and our planet?

If I drill a hole in planet Earth - right through to the other side, and one day (say when I'm drunk) I fall through the hole, what will happen? Will I fall through to the other side, or will gravity keep me stuck in the core or will I float out to space?
