A young boy, 4 years old, is disabled. Doctors haven't a clue what's wrong. Symptoms, elongated skull, unable to communicate, subject to limb dislocation, can't walk, therefore wasted muscles in lower limbs, has large flexibilty in joints. I'm no quack. but my initial thoughts were a mixture of Hydrocephalous, Autism and Cerebral Palsy? Any ideas? Sicko's forget it.

Suppose a sample of refrigerant gas consisting of a simple mixture of the gases pentafluoroethane (C2HF5) and difluorormethane (CH2F2) has a density of 3.69 g/L at 20. °C and 0.873 atm.

Calculate the average molecular mass for this sample.

(This was found to be: 1.02×10^2 amu)

-------

The question I need some help with is:

Calculate the volume percentage of CH2F2 in the sample.

Any hints would be helpful. Thanks.

In a snowball fight, where snowballs are identical spheres, your opponents have stacked their snowballs in a square pyramid. You are about to count the snowballs along the bottom edge of the opponent's stack when one appears with another snowball. After giving him a telling off, the opposition's leader takes apart the square pyramid and builds a new, triangular pyramid using all the original snowballs and the extra one. Find two possible values for the number of snowballs your opponents now have.

Perhaps someone can come up with an equation to solve this? If not, the raw answers would still be helpful. Have fun...

I'm researching Peak Oil and consumption/production data. I need data on known oil reserves, rates of consumption, and rates of production. Please list sources that are independent of the usual government agencies. The government agencies are skewing their figures on known reserves to support their agenda, and so are not factual. Their consumption figures may be more accurate, however, so I am not as resistant to those sources. If you have any credible sources I can access online, please post the links and any comments you may have for me.

Thanks!

I need help on sum of a series. If anyone doesn't know what it means, it is that weird looking E. There is two numbers in the top of the E and the right of the E. There is one "n=#" sign in the bottom of the E. Can someone like give me a walkthrough on this because I am freshman in high school and I never learned this yet. I had to learn it last year, but they wouldn't let me. Can you tell me how to do it. Give me like samples of sum of a series and tell me how to solve the answer step by step. I need to know please.
