Well, obviously I'm completely misunderstanding relativity here, but it seems to me that if you've got a doppler shift where there wasn't one earlier, there's got to be some change in relative velocity between the observer and the waves, Now, if an observer can change their velocity relative to light waves, then how is it that "observers will always measure the speed of light to be the same no matter what their state of uniform linear motion is"(-Wikipedia)

here's a word problem i need help with...

an unfortunate accident happens on a plane and a man/woman is falling from a heighth of say... 800 feet..... while falling with thier face toward the sun (as if your back would hit the ground first)... the man/woman is holding their child closely to their chest... approximately 10-20 feet before hitting the ground, the man/woman hurls their child upward into the air, thus resulting in slamming into the ground onto their back.... would the child be alive?? would they just suffer the damages of a 10- 20 foot fall??? or would it not even matter.... can anyone help??

Im doing a project on bathroom products design. For that, i need to know the EXPERIENCES, NEEDS and DESIRES of both novice and expert users of bathroom products. These bathroom products can be - Taps, Showers, Toilets, Baths, Vanity basins, or Bathroom furniture. I have to do any one of these products (right now im thinking to do tapware and vanity basins). Can anyone tell me their experiences while using a tap or a vanity basin or any of the above product, their needs and desires. In addition, some new ideas of improving any of the above bathroom products would also be appreciated. Im also looking for something that even conserves water since a lot of water gets consumed in bathroom. Thanks!
