Actually you have to convert it to miles per hour, not miles, since knots is a velocity measurement and miles is a distance measurement:
1 knots = 1.15077945 mph

Knots are... units of speed. Do you want knots to MPH?
If so, that is:
1 knot to 1.152 mph.
