Trying to Conceive - November 2006

My husband and I have been TTC for about 8 months. We're trying not to getworked up or overly excited about it, but I can't help but feel disappointed when every month my period comes along. How do the rest of you deal with the disappointment of not conceiving?

ok a friend said that he thought i might be. I had my period thou i was a week late he said its not uncommon for girls to still have their period the 1st month, also i've been having really bad headaches and yesterday i got sick 3x and still felling all nausous...what are the symptoms in the 1st month? i dont get paid until a week and if i still feel like this should i get a test?

Why only is the age of the mother and the health of the mother discussed? It has been shown that sperm can be damaged by alcohol, cigarette smoke, herbicides, and just by spontaneous mutations because they divide so many times and so many mistakes are made and as a male ages the mistakes are not gotten rid of. If the March of Dimes won't publicize this who can?

Sorry for such a rambling question but this is serious.

well my period is 3 days late well there normally all over the place and im just wondering cuz ive been trying for a baby now for 2 months. and im feeling slight period pains now for 3 days and theres no period my breasts are really hurting and have been for 3 days aswell so is it normal that if im pregnant should i still feel period pains and has any of you mothers felt like this

me and my bf have been trying 4 a baby 4 10 months now, i was on the pill for 8 years, came of it 10 months ago, some ppl av told me all diff stories, 1 pers sed it takes 2 yrs to get the pill out of ur system, another person told me it was 6 months, does anybody out there actually know? i have been taking folic acid supplements but they nothin just seems 2 b happening, i dnt think neither of us were infertile cos my bf has a son and i was pregnant a few yrs back but i lost it when i was 6 months ahead? Does n e 1 have n e suggestions.

im not thick, i just read so many diffrent stories that u can have a period and be pregnant. is this true?

i had my period 4 days early and as usual it has been heavy. it has lasted longer than my normal periods. my period has stopped today. i have urinate much more than i normally do, i have lower cramps, my boobs feel sore.

i am happily married and ttc for over a year - both healthy
i think my mind is playing with me. has anybody eles had these feelings?.

last weekend a couple days past ovulation my cervix or at least the surrounding area ( mostly internal) felt very achy for a couple days. My boobs were way sensitive even hurt when I bent over. I have been really groggy when I wake up from napping or even in morning. I get slight headaches, my legs have been cramping like right before AF but wouldn't start for a couple weeks. Anyway, this achy feeling in my vaginal area (possibly cervix) has been uncomfortably achy. Does this happen to women who have concieved? I've never checked my cervix and I don't really feel safe to do it myself but if anyone can tell me if this is normal during concieving. I felt this pain right before I gave birth to my first.

I have been trying to conceive for a year now, and finally was put on clomid and metformin, I ended the clomid 2 weeks ago. Now I am having pain in my abdomen, and feel really sick to my stomach all day. The pain feels like ovulation but I already ovulated, could this be a pregnancy pain, I did have a c-section for my first child. Did anyone have this kind of pain after clomid? Or did you have pain when you first were prego again after c-section.

from past 4-5 days i was having stomach cramps for a while followed by back pains....and then today i didnt get any cramps or back ache today...very slight back ache being nearly negligeble...does this mean i am not pregnant...my periods normally come between 9-12 and i havent got them yet...maybe tom not sure as it fluctatuates withing these days always between 9-12 though...what does this mean...serious ans plz thnx...hope i get pregnant...thnx for all your help

Please remember to take folic acid BEFORE you get pregnant to protect your child against nueral tube defects like anencephaly and spina bifida. These defects occur during day 22-28 of pregnancy long before you know you are pregnant! My nephew died of anencephaly. I was wondering if I got pregnant and was taking the pill ( I have skipped several ) if it would hurt the baby? My husband and I aren't trying to concieve but if it happens we don't want to hurt the baby. Should I stop taking pills? If I do, then I will have a even bigger chance of being pregnant.
