My niece had no idea she was pregnant until she was about 5 months because her periods never stopped. The baby kicking clued her in lol!
She was only 18 and not familiar with all the symptoms, so had no suspicions. Her son is now almost 3.

No, not possible, because a period is shedding of the lining of your uterus. HOWEVER, you can definitely bleed while pregnant and it can appear to be a period. Do you know when you ovulate? Take the first day of bleeding in your period and that is day 1... on Day 14 you approximately ovulate... Have intercourse once a day on days 10, 12, 14, 16, 18... if he has a lower count... if he has a high count then once a day everyday is fine. GOOD LUCK! Also try going on prenatal vitamins now... if you don't have a dr to get a prescription from at the moment, get zinc. It helps male and female reproductive systems.

When I got pregnant with my first child I had a lot of bleeding at first. I actually announced to my husband "well, I'm not pregnant, because I got my period." He's almost four now.
The answer is no, you can't have your period. But, you can have bleeding that is almost indistinguishable!
I think you should take a home test or arrange to get your levels checked at your doctor's office.

No. Once a woman is pregnant, she stops ovulating and therefore stops menstruating. Though some women experience spotting during pregnancy, it is nothing like a regular period. Women who experience bleeding that is much like a normal period should see a doctor, since this is not normal.

Yes and No. Some women bleed monthly while they are pregnant. It would appear to be their period, but it's not. When a women has her period it is shedding the lining of her uterus. This does not happen while pregnant, but she could still bleed.

i asked my ob/gyn this question because i have seen so many people answer on here that you can have your period while pregnant. she said that there is no physical way that you can have your period while you are pregnant. you can bleed during pregnancy, but it is not the same thing as a period.
