You could go ahead and take a Hpt. When I was trying to conceive baby #2, I couldn't wait, so 1 day before my period was supposed to start I took a EPT from walmart because it was supposed to detect pregnancy up to four days sooner and got a negative. I was so disappointed. But when my period still hadn't started three days later, I ran to the dollar store and bought 2 generic test and what do you know... 2 very clear positives. So I guess I was probably around 4 days late. I don't know if this helped any, but I hope you get the result you are looking for. If you aren't pregnant, don't give up hope. It took my husband and I about 4 months and many ovulation kits before we conceived. Good luck and hope all works out for you :)

I could not wait to take a test, I am very impatient that way. I was only about 10 days past ovulation when I took the First response early result test and it was positive. I should think if you are late then it would be safe to take a test. I was on the depo and got pregnant the first month after not getting my new shot. But I highly reccomend the first respose early results test.

Pregnancy tests are fairly accurate up to 5 days before the expected period. Since you have already missed yours, it's as good a time as any to go ahead and take the test now. GOod luck to you.

I know you are suppose to at least wait two weeks after your missed period that is the old saying. Now adays you can wait at least five. Also don't think about having childeren when you have sex it makes your body stress and it will reject and kill the sperm so Think happy thought
