My friend has neg. urine tests her entire pregnancy!

I once had severe ovarian pain, took a home test, it came back negative. Went to the doctor that same day only to find out I was pregnant, via a blood test. When the doctor told me I argued with him because I had had a negative urine test that morning. False negatives are very common with urine tests... false negatives, however, are very rare. It was a full week before I was able to get a positive urine test!

I had a neg. urine test and an inconclusive blood test, when I was one month pregnant, but this was my second child and I knew I was.

My mom did that with me. Some women just dont produce a lot of the hormone required to detect pregnancy.

Yes, you can have a false negative, but never a false positive.
