My husband and I have been TTC for about 8 months. We're trying not to getworked up or overly excited about it, but I can't help but feel disappointed when every month my period comes along. How do the rest of you deal with the disappointment of not conceiving?

Early in my marriage, I tried to get pregnant for a year and a half with no luck. Then when we stopped trying, I got pregnant. I thought I was ready for a baby but God knew better than me and He made it happen in His good timing. I've always been grateful for that. We now have 4 kids. My advice is to first of all, relax and try not to worry so much. Next, I would set up an appointment with my OB/GYN for an exam to discuss the situation and possibly test for any problems. Good luck, I'm betting it'll happen in time.

We have been trying for over a year (16 periods).I can honestly say it does not get better, I WISH I COULD tell you it does. I want to cry almost every time I think of not being pregnant. I had such high hopes. WE did not tell our family we were trying because we did not want to hear, just calm down it will happen. You know all the things you do not want to hear when you are trying and you keep getting your period
SO, I had gone to the Dr when I went off the pill last year and then for my yearly I told him we were still trying, I gave him all the information I had been tracking( I watched my days I have my period, the days in between and the days I ovulate per the ovulation kit) and he sent me for tests. LONG testing story short I have blocked Fallopian tubes that my insurance company wont pay to have fixed.
Needless to say, if you are getting anxious go see your Dr. just to get check out to make sure everything is OK for you.
I wish you all the luck!

It can be frustrating, especially when it seems like everyone around you is pregnant or has young kids - it's like it's so easy for everyone else, why not me! My husband and I started trying this summer (when I went off the pill) but apparently I wasn't ovulating (I never got my period). I knew it would be hard for me to get pregnant, but I didn't expect this! I went to a gyn two weeks ago, she gave me a pill to start my period (which worked, yay!) and I'll start taking clomid tomorrow so I can ovulate.

Knowing that I'm taking steps to "fix" myself so I can get pregnant helps a lot. But I suspect that if I go more than 4 months or so without getting pregnant (I'm impatient, I know most people should try for a year) that I'll get pretty frustrated again.

I know what you are going through. I have been going through this for 3 years. I have PCOS. I started Weight Watchers and I have lost 54.2 lbs. I started going to the gym and working out. You just have to find something that you are passionate about. Something to refocus your time on something that is going to benefit you in the long run. Just have faith that you will get pregnant. Try joining a church. It has helped me so much in my family life. If you need a friend. My email is dixieangel9122@yahoo.com. I know that this journey is long. You know though anything worth having is worth waiting for."Delight thyself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart." I think that is Pslam 34-5. I know the journey seems like you are the only one there. Jesus is there He knows your pain. He is walking right beside of you. It is up to you to take His hand.

Not very well actually. I usually cry, then get mad at everybody. I hate to see pregnant people and HATE hearing that someone is pregnant and that is was an accident or surprise. We've been trying for over a year now and I'm crossing my fingers. I'll cross them for you too! Good luck!!

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/Gd6du

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

I eat a pint of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, then grab my hubby and try again! I also try not to cry when I see people with newborn girls and I try not to get too sad over all the adorable little girl dresses at the stores.

Premature ejaculation is caused by specific things that you do before and during sex. Most of the time without even realizing it. Read here https://tr.im/D850f

Premature ejaculation is not some gene you're born with, the result of your penis size or a part of your personality that you can never change.
