Pregnancy - October 2006

I would prefer a female OB GYN, but any recomendations would be helpful. I just moved to the High Desert so I don't have anybody to ask for recommendation.

I heard someone say that showing early 3-4 months could depend on how much amniotic fluid your baby has, is this true? I have never heard this. If it is true does that mean if you are not showing it could be to low amniotic fluid?

Why are so many women saying they are showing, I have had one girl say she looks 6 months pregnant at not even 4 months, and she insist it's not bloating or bowel distention. I'm 4 months and I worry b/c i'm hardly showing but read others are are "sticking out for miles" how can this be? This is not my 1st pregnancy, it's my 2nd in the last year. I miscarried 5 months ago.

Ok not to sure what is going on... I want to wait but i am so anci I dont want to wait... Usually when my period comes my breast hurt. But that is also one of the signs of being PG.... My period isnt due until next Friday is there a test that i can take know or is it to early on....

I am 12 DPO, is it ok if I take a pregnancy test today… I have done the research and looked at the box for accuracy, but I would like personal experiences on early testers of HPT… I just want to know if you found out earlier than your missed period… mine is due Sunday, but I want to test now… I won’t be upset if I am not, but I will be ecstatic if I am… my husband and I have been trying, but I just found out my brother and sister in law are pregnant last night..YAY!!!!!!, (they have been married 10 years and this is thier first baby) so my happy feelings have been drawn to them, I don’t really care about myself now, but I just want to know if I am… thanks for your experiences!!!! P.S. just a little history, I’m 25, and we tried 2 days b4 ovulation and the day of ovulation around twice per day… I am having symptoms but since they are similar to period its hard to say which they are for?!? I've been reading about all the pain and things... I think I can cope with positive pain. What worries me is the damage that it sounds like it causes; loss of blood, cuts and tears sometimes severe enough to reach the rectum, fistulas? Absolutely terrifying. Never mind having your stomach and lady bits all stretched.

How often does this sort of injury occur? Is there anything life-style wise that one can do to prevent it?

And please don't say 'you won't mind when you have the baby' I will!

ok so I was a couple days late on my period I was cramping really bad but nothing was coming then at like midnight (I usually get my period in the morning) I had some brown spotting its been two days and its not very heavy but I still have some bleeding. I've been having cramping still and I never have cramps! I've been having some other symptoms too like feeling nauseous sometimes, frequency in urination, moodswings, headaches, I have no idea whats going on with me. I've taken three tests, all negative, I took one Monday at midnight, Wed at midnight, and today, it wasn't a clear negative it was blurry, I think I'm not holding the test right or doing it wrong....Help!?!
