During your pregnancy, did you ever had to pee soooo bad that you wet yourself?

I did. After a long bout of being stuck on a bus with a broken toilet, I waddled as fast as I could to the bathroom, but there was a line, and I couldn't hold it.

expecially when i took greyhound i was supposed to have a 3 hour ride that turned into 5 hours and yes same thing to many peeps and couldnt hold it

i was glad the peeps at greyhound gave me a place to take a quick shower and a sweat suit to change into

but in the end my daughter was worth the embaressment i had on that day and on many others

When you're preggo and the bigger you get the more your uterus is expanding toa make room for the baby......so it is pushing everything out of its way and there's lots of pressure.....
so this includes your bladder....the smallest amount will make you feel like you are holding a bucket!
Or when you cough or sneeze sometimes a little pee comes out too.......that's why you have to do those pelvic excercises throughout your pregnancy to strengthen those exact muscles.

And P.S. the more kids you have the weaker the bladder!

If it makes you feel better, I wasn't pregnant, but wet myself once anyways.
Long journey to get to a friends house, he wasn't there, and from standing there in the cold so long, I wet myself.
At least being pregnant is an excuse to pee a lot, but the folks in the line should have let you past. Next time say: I'm pregnant, and the baby is pressing on my bladder, can I please go first?

It happens, baby is pushing on the bladder and you can only take so much of that :) No, I don't ever recall doing this, but there are exercises believe it or not, normally the prenatal classes introduce you to these, they strengthen your muscles in this area and this helps avoid such things most of the time :)

I got pneumonia when about 6 or 7 mos. pregnant with my third baby, who was quite large anyway (9 lbs at birth). I peed my pants so much due to coughing that I finally started wearing pads!

u poor thing u must've been embarrassed. it's alright. i'm sure there are lots of women that have been in your position. i'm not that far along yet but since i'm carrying twins, when i gotta go, i GOTTA GO! i have however peed while getting sick more than a few times.
