Or will it always be "looser" then before . . . I heard it can tear during birth, can that be fixed or prevented? Is having a C Section a better option?

I am so sick of being pregnant but I want a healthy baby so I dont want to do anything stupid to induce labor. I want to have it come naturally. This is my first child and I was just needing some reasuring stories and experiences to prove that just because this is my first that she will be late. So, mothers with first born children how early was your baby and how fast did your pregnancy progress? i know every woman is different but it helps ease the anxiety knowing other stories. I also got checked today and am almost 1 centimeter dialated and 50% effaced.

i dont know if im pregnant because i had sex in may with out protection for a week straight and when i would go pee it would hurt it would like burn but nothing weird hsppened so i got my period regularly but the period right after i had sex i felt weir like hedaches and dizzyness and did not have any energy in me but then my period was unnormal because it would hurt alote and i would bleed alote nt like other mths. so then i've been having my period every month but in diffirent dates and when im sleeping or laying down i fell like litle push in my stomatch like by my bellybutton and my side and before i go to bed and when i wake up i feel like trowing up and ours after i eat too so do you guys think im pregnant oh yea and my back hurts like hell and i cant only stay in one possition laying down???

I have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend all last month. Recently on August 31, I started spotting brown in color and that lasted for 2 days. That was so weird for me because I have a very NORMAL cycle and this has never happened to me before. Then about 4 days later I started bleeding again this time bright red in color. I need to know whats going on am I pregnant or what?? I dont want to take a pregnancy test because of the bleeding but you cant have 2 periods that close together... thats just not normal especially in my case since I know for sure that I have a normal cycle. So any responses please let me know because i am freaking out and have never experienced anything like this before. So tell me could I be pregnant?

I know there are some rules to changing a child's name, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they are. My boyfriend and I are expecting a child. I have heard that if the baby has his last name then I would need my boyfriend's consent to change it later, if I married someone else. So I was going to give his last name as the middle name, and my last name as the last name. But I just saw something online saying that I would need to get his signature of consent either way, since he will be listed on the birth certificate. Does anyone know how this works?

I went to my 15 week checkup today and was offered the option to take the multiple marker test. For those of you who have been pregnant before you know what this is...

After reading the paperwork on the current accuracy statistics, I decided not to have the test performed. Part of my decision was based on hating to have blood drawn (selfish), by my main reason was that I worry about the implications of a false negative or positive. Aborting is not an option for us. We will love the baby no matter what happens.

I just wondered if any others of you made the decision not to have it done, or, if those of you who had had it done had any negative or positive feedback about it.

Since my next appointment is at 19 weeks, I will still have a window of opportunity to have the test done if I change my mind so I wanted to hear opinions of other mothers (and even mothers to be).

When I got preg. with my son, I got b.v. twice and treated it. During the rest of the pregnancy I had lots of smelly discharge (kinda smelled musty and cheesish stink.)sorry sounds gross. But people thought I didn't shower and it affected my whole life completely. I didn't want them thinking I didn't shower, which I do EVERYDAY! I told my midwife to do several wet mounts and they all cme back neg.

Well let me get to the point, I had my baby almost 2 months ago and the smells still there no matter what! I can not bear this anymore. Has this happened to anyone else? What else could it be? UTI? hormonal change? HEEEEELLLLP!Really i'm depressed

I am 27 weeks pregnant, I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks. I thought i would get another one at my 20 weeks. They never gave me one. When one of the nurses were covering for my doctor she told me she would send in for an ultrasound. When i went to set the date, they told me they were not doing any appointments for that month. This was back in june, i went to my doctors appointment on the 27th of July and i met my doctor and asked about the ultrasound. He told me she never sent in for one and i wasnt going to get one because it was recommended. That was at 20 weeks i believe or less than that. I would like an ultrasound to make sure the baby is okay and i also want to know if the baby is growing okay. But i really dont know how to ask? i have a doctors appointment next week and plan on bring this to my doctors attention. This just does not seem normal to me that they wouldnt give me another one. Any suggestions on how to ask for one?

Can anyone tell me what ovulation and implantation pains feel like? I was getting some clear discharge for a couple days and today I been getting some twingy pains in my abdomen and it's uncomfortable to move around awhole bunch, not painful just a bit uncomfortable.. Could this be one of the two? Thanks!
