I was thinking of putting a baloon under my top with the words "Hi Daddy" or "we are pregnant" and answer the door like that when he comes home (he is on a business trip for two weeks). What did you do???

First of all Congrats! That is so fantastic! I recently saw some fantastic shirts @ www.2chix.com. (Maternity Wear) Well they have some fantastic male shirts as well. For example - My boys can swim. - DADDY tee , Look what I did - DADDY tee. You could always get him one - wrap it up & give it to him as a gift. Just an idea. Good luck with your new family!

I would leave the state before he gets back from his business trip; don't say a thing, no calls, nothing. Maybe leave a message that says you'll be back soon, and you love him... But nothing else. Then in 9 month show up at his door, and pop the big surprise wearing a shirt that says "I was pregnant", holding your new baby with a little hat that says "where have you been daddy?". That would really be a surprise!

When he comes back u should make it all simple but romantic with every thing relating to baby like a dinner baby sized food or the easy way just be a little loving ask questions about how he feels about kids and baby's and if he did good say I'm pregnant

My story was so lame. I wanted to do something fun, but I woke up at 4 AM really having to use the restroom. I needed to use the first morning urine so I ended up taking the test then. When it came out positive, I didn't know when I should tell him, right away or wait till he wakes up. I laid in bed, tossed and turned wide awake, there was no way I was going to sleep. I finally woke him up and told him that the test was positive. He said sleepily, are you sure? I made him come see the stick.

I like the idea about calling him Daddy for the first time. I did sort of the same.
You know, the other thing - don't say WE are pregnant. YOU are pregnant, he can't know what exactly you're feeling (both good and not really feelings about it). You can say WE are expecting a baby...

That is a great way ! He was in the doctors office with me when the doc broke the news. I was in more shock than my ex. I actually asked the doctor if he was sure I was pregnant & I asked the doc if it was my ulcers. My mom goes"yeah. Ulcers thats gonna have arms & legs in 9 months".

when you eat dinner that night, tell him to pass something, when you get it, put alot on your plate, and if he looks at you in a funny way, or says something say, "hey! im eating for 2 now!" and see if he gets it!...and if he dosent repeat it till he does..but make sure not to tell a lot of people to make sure that nothing bad happens, and the babys all right.

Congradulations! and i hope everything goes well!

put a hamburger bun in the oven and when he gets home ask him to check and see if whats in the oven is done...when he gets it out with a confused look say "Oh a bun in the oven...maybe you should check again in 9 months"

Buy him a welcome home present...a onsie with the word Daddy on it, wrap it up and give it to him

On some teen sitcom... i think Full House... the character made him dinner... BABY back ribs... BABY corn.... BABY shrimp cocktail....BABY carrots....

Then ask him to guess the theme!

If he still can't guess... give him a BABY Ruth candy bar for dessert.
