My doctor will be out of the country for the entire 2 weeks up to my due date.

Doesn't he have someone on call?
Otherwise if you go into labor, there will be OB's on call at the hospital.

Bed rest, no bending over, no sex, taking it very, very, VERY easy. Let it be natural - your baby is the one with the schedule now. Even if your doc is out of town, someone will be there to help you. So, just take it easy, stay relaxed and enjoy your peaceful moments before your bundle of joy is born!

I don't think you can control when you will deliver. I was on bedrest with my second starting at 29wks and still went into labor at 37wks. I don't think anyone but God and Mother Nature has control over it!
