Hello. Im pregnant and have such a terrible cold. Im stuffed up, sore throat,sneezing, ect... is there anything SAFE that I can take? Im scared on what to choose. Does anyone know which medicines or a home remedy? Thanks so much.

I have been reading that girls find out that their baby's are dead in their womb as far as 20 weeks (5 months) in their pregnancy. I am 5 months, when I am pregnant I do not make big bellys at all and my normal range of weight gain is between 7 & 10 pounds - this is my third child, but with this pregnancy at times I do not feel pregnant at all nor do I feel like I have a baby inside, but other days the baby is moving alot and I "feel" pregnant. Is there a monitor that I could buy so I could hear my son's heartbeat when I want to and that it will not be harmful to the baby?

this week we found that my wife may be pregnant, the best we can figure is that it happened 3 weeks ago. The problem is my wife took an asprin shortly after the thought conception day, along with a motrin this last week, in this time frame she has drank cafiene and one occasion of some alchohol as well. We are heading to the doc soon, but I am curious if we should be really concerned.

But I was just wondering if it is safe to sleep on my stomach how I do not have a belly and it is not uncomfortable for me. Now a days, everything seems to harm the baby as back in the days, nothing was a big deal.. I have heard that one is suppose to sleep on the left side, etc.

My boyfriend has decided (in his wisdom of course) that im having a boy cos of the way that im carrying (all bump and boobs nothing else) anyway back to the question.... He likes the name Emmerson Ayrton. Was just wondering what you lot thought of it and would the name be ridiculed in anyway - just thinking ahead cos kids are cruel!!!! Has anyone taken pain medication when pregnant? I have been on tramadol for 2 years now and Ive just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant. If I stop taking the meds I get extreme withdrawel symptoms. I can't go to my GP because he thinks I have come off them after treating me for the addiction. Does anyone know of any effects this might have on the baby? Im really worried.

i tested with a first response test and it came out neg. but the thing is that i tested in the afternoon a month and a half after sex.they told me that for afternoon tests you should wait a while so that the hormone can accumulate.well i waited an hour to go to the bathroom.i took it and it came out negative i had my period 2 weeks before i tested.norm period and 4 neg tests is it safe to say im not pregnant???

I'm 5 months pregnant, I got married 1 month ago, I also moved to Germany 11 days ago to be with my husband (army wife). I know it sounds childish but I'm so scared NO PETRIFIED, about being a good wife and about becoming a mum and being a good mum but i cant bring myself to talk to my husband about how i feel, the words "i'm scared" just wont come out ! he knows theres something wrong but when he asks i just dismiss it and say its just hormones! what do i do ?? any advise from mums or army wives or both would be great.

I'm sorry to imform you guys that i'm not pregnant.....we have tried so hard we thought for sure this was it I had all the signs plus I was late on my period....but now i'm bleeding heavy, and now I no there is no baby in there, we thought this was it because we have tried for so many months on track and everything, we did everything the doc told us to do and still nothing, I've been taking prenatal's to help.... I no i'm fertile, me and my boyfriend both got checked and we both can have kids.... does god not want us to bring a baby into this world.....? I guess we got to keep trying....

I went for my first scan yesterday to be told my baby had died 2 weeks ago, i was in shock and very emotional so just wanted to go home. However i have had no bleeding or pain and have been told the baby is still in there and it has to be taken out is there any chance that they could be wrong and my baby is just smaller than i thought?
I was told the baby is at 8 weeks old but the sac that holds the baby is at 11 weeks.
I continue to have pregnancy symptoms etc and a swollen baby bump belly.
I was told this is very rare to carry on carrying the baby for this long is there any chance they could be wrong?
