I'm due Tuesday. My doctor is going out of town next week. If I go past my due date, I have to wait ANOTHER week to be induced. I've started to dilate and efface, but I'm ready to speed this process up.
Has castor oil worked for anyone?
And yes, I've tried other things. I walk 3 miles/day and still having plenty of sex.

Is it true that domestic animals, cats mainly, 'know' or can sense when a woman is pregnant and tend to be drawn to the womans belly? I have heard that cats will always want to be near or actually on the womans belly during pregnancy and i just wondered if anyone else had heard of this.

The last time i had unprotexcted sex was over 2 weeks ago. my period is almost a week late. i tested when it was 3 days late and it came back negative. i used first response early because a friend of mine recomended it to me. Im going to test agian when I am 9 or 10 days late to see if anything has changed. It doesnt feel like im pregnant. my boobs arent sore, i have more energy.... but i have trouble sleeping now. just my period isnt showing up. how accurate would the test be when i redo it? if it does indeed say negative, should i assume that i am not pregnat or should i test again? has anyone gotten a false negative when their period was almost 2 weeks late? has anyone been pregnant and had no symptoms whatso ever other than a missed period?

If you just found out you were pregnant, and you were a haibitual pot smoker, but now you find out you're a month pregnant, what harm could be done? Please no one post anything about irresponsibility, and how bad of a person i am, or how bad pot is...that's just a waste of your words because i won't read them...i'm just curious is someone can be honest, has anyone ever smoked pot or done anything like that during the beginning of your pregnancy, before you found out you were pregnant? Now that i know i'm pregnant, i'm not smoking anything anymore.

I am four months pregnant with a so far healthy baby. The one problem I have is that I have trouble eating. Food has just lost its appeal and flavor. I haven't gained any weight and I'm a little concerned. If I don't eat, the baby doesn't eat. Don't get me wrong, I DO eat. Just not a lot. Any Advice?

I had an ultrasound n doctor say no baby but he says to confirm I better take the test. I tested n it turns neg. Thus he gives me some horms medicine to eat.Then i went to have coffee n found out tat the test shows a fainted line.. so I went back to doctor n he ask me to test in next 4 days n dun eat the medicine he gives me. Then the 3rd day my period comes.. So I nv tested.. Now after 2 weeks I still dun feel gd.. back pains n stomach cramps chest feeling uncomfortable... Is it norm?But my stomach is not hard at all.. I jus wish for yr advise cos I do not wanna go to c doc n get disappointed again.. Thank you....

I know not as bad as child birth, I'm sure. But needles arent really my thing, and the fact that it goes in my spine is scarier. For those who have had one, What is the pain like?

Hypnobirthing teaches you how to give birth. You control all pain by breathing techniques and being totally relaxed. So relaxed that you don't even move or make a sound. Then my baby just popped out. My labour was 6 hours and it was great. Has anyone else tried it or does anyone else have any questions about it.

The first day of my last period was on the 12th of July. Since then I have had unprotected sex 4 times with my husband. In only one of these instances he ejaculated inside me, and the other 3 times he pulled out. The problem is that I don't know how long my cycle is and when I'm supposed to start my period. I did a preg test on the 8th of August - it was negative. But my breasts have been tender (which is unusual for me as it never happens, not even before a period), and everytime I brush my teeth or cough - I gag, which is also quite unusual, I'm also a bit more tired than usual, and yesterday I had sharp pains in the right-side of my lower abdomen - these pains weren't like period pains, it was a sharp stinging sensation. Could I be pregnant? Should I just wait until my Cycle is in it's 36th day to assume that I am late and then do a test? Help please.

Pregnant, and my husband insists on going out all the time. Tonight he had his brother come over and basically ask if he could go out and play. He told me he would be home at 11:00. Woke up at 2:00 and he wasn't home. He got here about 2:15. He does not seem to understand why this bothers me - I'm almost 38 weeks and I think he should be home with me. Do I expect too much?

Also, I have been on "bed rest" since 7/7/06. So I am stuck at home by myself all the time.
