Ask your doctor.

NO! The main thing in T-3 is codeine, a very powerful and controlled pain killer that is harmful to your baby. If a doctor said you could take it, he/she is nuts and should not BE a doctor! Everyday aspirin can be just as harmful as can ibuprofen. Regular Tylenol only while pregnant.

I know you can take Tylenol but I don't know what Tylenol 3 is. Just tell her to take a basic Tylenol or call her doc.

Your sister really should consult her OBGYN. I know when I was pregnant the only medicine I cook take was regular Tylenol. However, she really should consult her OBGYN before taking any medicine that was not given to her by a Doctor...

Everything you ingest goes to the baby, so I don't think your babe would appreciate the codeine. You need to talk to your doctor.
