When I was pregnant with my first child and I lost my mucous plug, within 48 hours I was delivering. I had broken my water about 12 hours later after losing my plug. Regarding the plug, it wasn't anything big, it was like a brown milky discharge like what happens at the end of your period.

Get ready!

Just because you ask it 3 times in a row, doesn't improve the question! Once is plenty!!!!!

The mucus plug is about the size of a flem ball. so don't expect anything huge and sometimes it even breaks up smaller so you won't even realize it. But if its a steady stream of something coming dark get to the hospital right away.

hey lady above me...she is scared and she has not been getting an answer that takes her fears away. if she wants to use ALL of her points to find the answer she needs then so be it.

as to the question, it sounds like you will have your water break soon.
