My friend and I are debating which one to go with. She already has a daughter named Emily and is leery about having two children with the same initial as a first name, which I'm trying to convince her there's nothing wrong with that. Also we're trying to think of some good nicknames. Any suggestions?

hi there, I had a new-born daughter and I gave her the name of 'Elise'.

But I don't know which is the correct pronunciation. Some pronounced like [e leez] (e of education), some said is [a leez] (a of abc), some said is [i leez] (i of elite).

But which one?

For a girl:

I my mom is expecting a baby in July ... If it is a girl her name will be Bethany (need a middle name), but we need biblical boy name combos ... the boy has to have a biblical "J" somewhere in his name , but we can't use James , John , Jonathan , Jacob or Jordon. My mom likes the names Philip, Noah, Jeremiah and Joshua ... oh we can't us Aaron , Daniel , Michael, David or Benjamin because these are my cousins names ... please up ... thanks - olivia

In my previous question, me and my friend resolved her daughter to come's name as Madeline King.

Now, a middle name is needed.
So far we have;
Madeline Clara
Madeline Rose
Madeline Cecille
We need more suggestions.

*Basically she wants it to be short and feminine.
And old fashioned names are a plus.
