I think that that is a lovely name. It's hebrew, right? It means: God has answered me.
I would pronounce it: Elle- eee- yawn- ah or Ellie- anne-ah.
Either way, it's beautiful. It is not hard for those who don't recognize the name to sound it out. Ell- liana is pretty self evident.
I say go for it, especially if you are religious it is a perfect name!

I'd assume the parents had unknowingly added an extra L to Eliana, and therefore pronounce it identically -- el-ee-AHN-a.
Basically like the nickname Ellie, plus Ana (not Anna).
