Well I am not pregnant but my fiance and I have decided on two names, one for a boy, Parker Robert, and one for a girl, Brooke Lynn.
I also like the name Dylan, Mckenzie, Madison, Drake, and Blake. Hope this helps.

My daughter's name is Kennedy Addison Grace. We wanted her middle name to be Grace after her father's mother who passed away 3 years ago. We couldn't choose between Kennedy and Addison so we decided to give her two middle names.
Some other names I like are:
Girls:
Ashtyn Rose
Lorelai Leigh
Miley Ryan
Isabella Kai
Haylie Jaymes
Boys:
Lucas William
Nathan James
Peyton Maddox
Landon Mitchell
Jacoby Camryn
Carter Matthew

Yes, I do agree that my tase in names is quite obscure, but if you pair a unique name with a name such as Lily for a girl or James for a boy, it is often beautiful.

I know when my parents decided not to find out the gender of their last baby (my little brother) they chose to name him Aaron if he was a boy or Erin if he was a girl.
I hate all the cutesy new names people are naming their kids now-days (see above! Maliki, YUCK). I like biblical names for boys; Adam, Isaac, Micah, Joshua, and Gabriel are some of my favorites. For girls I tend to love old-fashioned names; Savannah, Rebecca, Sarah and Elizabeth are fail-proof!
Good luck!

for a girl: Scarlet Esther (essie for short)
or Scarlet Mina
for a boy: Logan Blake
or if the girls eyes are blue, Azura would be a beautiful middle name. And the all have good meanings
unlike cody (which means pillow) or brendan(which means stinky hair) good luck :)

For a girl, how about Sage? It means wisdom and sage's were always the women prophets -strong and wise. he name Brynna also means strong.
For a boy, the first name that popped into my head when you mentioned strong was Dalton. I thought of Xavier too. Maybe Xavier Dalton? The hard consanent sounds make it a regal name. You might also consider Conrad, which means bold.
