If Ray-Jai is the first name, Greggory the middle and Fogarty the last then go for it, but if it's only the first and middle name then don't. How about Jay as the first name Gregory-Ray as the middle and then Fogarty as the surname (if fogarty is not the surname just drop it) It's your baby so call it what you like, I get loads of grief about my kids names but i don't care cause their my kids and i called them names that were special to me

Sorry but your friends are right. It's not a name that sounds very nice either. How about Raymond Jay Fogarty? You could give him the nickname Ray-Jay. :-)

Greggory doesn't really go well with the other names.

Its too long and I think that Gregory Ray Fogarty sounds a bit better

Ray-Jai?!?!? Are you joking? I totally agree that its better to call your son "Raymond James" and use "Ray-Jai" as a nickname. It would be cruel to give that to the child as his given name!! Its a child not a dog!

And you've mispelled "Gregory". Theres only one "G" in it.

Raymond James Fogarty sounds fine and like I said can be shortened to Ray-Jay as a nickname when he's little.

I'm hoping this is just a joke. If you are serious, tell your friend to name her son Raymond James Fogarty. She can call him Ray-Jai as a nickname.

Hi,

I am sorry but I agree with your friends - the name is a little on the long side.

Just think when he is 16 and doing his GCSE's, he will be still on writing his name in full when the rest are on the second or third question! LOL!

Also the names don't really gel well together but that my personal opinion.

At end of the day it your baby and your choice, so whatever you pick is going to be ok as it one you made.

Good luck!

Lx

God ...that must be the worst ever name...with Fogarty as a last name you need something short and punchy and Ray-Jai is appalling...

Is that pronounced "Ray Jay?"
I'm sorry, but I don't like it.
No, most kids don't tease over names, but I actually think that Ray Jay would be made fun of a little bit.

Gregory Forgarty rhymes a little too much, and is a mouthful in itself, and that's just the middle and last!

Hows about,

Gregory Jay Foggarty.

Nice sounding boys name with not to many syllables.
