My husband and I are trying to decide on names for a baby. Dont know what it is yet.. but here are the names we have come up with so far.. keep in mind our last name starts with a "D"....

1. Krista Destiny D--------
2. Shelby Destiny D--------
3. Lucy Destiny D--------

1. Cooper Zildjian D--------
2. Trent Zildjian D--------
3. Gage Zildjian D--------

I let my husband pick the middle names ( ugh) I dont care for either of them... but thats what I have to work with. Our oldest Daughters name is Jenna FATE... so he wants to stick to that sort of "range" our son is a Junior ( Michael Robert)... my husband is a drummer hence the Zildjian thing... so lemmie know what ya'll think... :) have a good one everyone!!!

I just found out three weeks ago that I'm am pregnant with our fourth child. We are trying very hard not to count our chickens before they hatch but really want another girl. Our oldest is an 8 yr old girl followed by 5 yr old boy and 19 mo. old boy. Anyway, my husband is insisting on the name Elizabeth Jade as a girls name, but also insisting on calling her by her middle name Jade. I on the other hand think this is stupid and if we have a girl, we should name her Jade Elizabeth and then at no point in her life will she be confused...or people calling out Elizabeth and her having to say, no it's Jade. What is your opinion? And if you agree w/ me, how do I convince my husband?

So im having a little girl in a few weeks.. and i cannot decide on a name for her. My fiance is very set on the name Zoey Lynn.. and im not crazy about it at all. I do want to use Lynn as a middle name however.. because its mine. I really liked Jamey Lynn (my fiances name is James) so that wouldve worked well.. but a women i work with recently had a girl and that was the name she chose, i dont wanna be a copycat. For awhile i thought i was decided on Ashlee Lynn, but im not sure if i like it enough. I really like Lily as a first name but i dont like how it goes with Lynn.. and cant choose another middle name i like with it. OMG im confused why is this so hard, please help!!

I'm thinking of the name Livea Rose. It's my take on Olivia, but my dad said that teachers and other people she with encounter will try to add and 'O' to the beginning. I just think Livea is different and she would appreciate it more in life.

someone told me they though surnames were only good for boys. We once thought of harper and parker for girls (we have changed our minds though) but a few people said surnames are weird for girls what do you think, just curious?

some examples
Harper
Parker
Emerson
Sutton
Taylor
Tyler
Addison (its sometimes a last name)
Madison

My husband thinks the story behind the name Delilah (as in sampson & Delilah) does not paint a great picture. Does anyone care or is it just a silly name for a middle name?

What do you guys think about the name Langtry for a girl? it's a family name, but it hasn't been used in a while so I was considering it. The nickname usually ends up being Lang.

Is it too weird? (I know it's a surname also.) I was thinking of combining it with a really girly, feminime middle name, maybe... any thoughts?

Aurelia- i think its sounds very pretty
Phoebe-i think its cute and like the nick name pheebs
Matilda- I like this name makes me think of the cute little girl from the movie. Also i like the nick name mj i plan on a j middle name if this is chosen.
Olive- i like olive, it has spunk. it reminds me of the girl from little miss sunshine who was just adorable. and for those who wilil say "well why not just olive?" olive in my baby book says derived from the oliva which was a type of olive tree, and olivia is derived from the same word, basically they are a variation of oliva so they're almost the same name

soo
Aurelia
Matilda
Phoebe
Olive

Which one and why or tell me what you like/dislike about them

My flatmate and good friend is having a baby girl in December and she's asked me to be the godmother and help name the baby. She likes traditional names and more unique ones so I was thinking maybe traditional for the first and less so on the second. Last name will be Hughes.

Any suggestions?
