What do you guys think about the name Langtry for a girl? it's a family name, but it hasn't been used in a while so I was considering it. The nickname usually ends up being Lang.
Is it too weird? (I know it's a surname also.) I was thinking of combining it with a really girly, feminime middle name, maybe... any thoughts?

I honestly thought you would say it was a boys name. I do not really like it. If it is a family name and you want to use it, use it as a middle name. Or give the baby a middle name and call her by that.

It sounds like a boy plus it is hard to say. Try yelling that out your door as if you are calling your kid in for dinner, doesn't roll off the tongue easily. Try it as a middle name, like, Elizabeth Langtry or Trevor Langtry. Good Luck.

That is beautiful, but then agian I like unique names. Langtry Elizabeth....I think that is pretty.

It's not wierd, but definitely unique! I think surnames are still a pretty cute naming trend. I know a girl named Gentry, so...

SUSAN LANGTRY (JONES)
or whatever your last name is.good luck.
