It doesn't sound bad if you sound it out, but WARNING-be able to deal with her name being mispronounced all the time; At doctor's offices, in school,...anywhere her name will be read. Also get used to people misspelling it. If you can't deal with constantly correcting people (or overlooking their mispronunciation/misspelling), without getting angry, then you should chose another name. It's not an easy name to look at and know how you want it pronounced.

It reminds me of jurassic park and Jerulasem
not a huge fan but if you like it then that's the main thing

I think it's cute. But, I'm glad you included the pronounciation because I wouldn't have been sure. And that is likely to be the case with most people.

It's pretty, but for some reason sounds a little "harsh."
Maybe it's the "J" sound at the beginning?
Also, ALOT of people could mispronounce it..

I don't like it personally. Marissa is much better. Even Larissa or Carissa. Jarissa is bad enough but spelled Jarysa is just awful.

I saw a lady at the airport named "Miracle". I thought that was a pretty cool name.

I'm not pregnant, TTC, but we've picked the names Connor John, and Shamus William for boys, and for girls Billie May and Charley Jaye. :) (We want four, two of each thankyou! lol.)
