Baby Names - August 2007

My husband and I like Dakota, Gavin and Rowan for boy's name. The only problem is my brother's name is Gavin and we feel that we shouldn't name our boy the same name as my brother. What are your feelings on it? Also can you please order the names from 1-3 with 1 being your favorite.

I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and for some reason it looks like I'm starting to get warts on my hand ...they are little red spots that seem to have started from the inside and are trying to make their way out...and now my skin on one arm has blotchy white spots about half the size of a dime with little red spots in the center..is this more of what's on my hands? Is it just my hormones from being pregnant?

Hoping to be preggy soon after our miscarriage in May. Wishful thinking and jotting down names for both a little boy and girl. (I just asked a question about a little girls name). Now I need your opinion on a little boys name. I asked a few weeks ago about the names Bo & River... But my hubby is sticking to his guns that if we would have another boy his name would be Cash. Its unique. I sort of like it. I would like your opinion? Also... any suggestions you have on middle names. I thought about Cash Jonathan. (John is my fathers name). His initals would be C.J. I know a lot of ou do not like nick names or shortened names, but I find nothing wrong with them.

P.S. My sons name is Brody William. I like the balance of a not so popular, but unique name balanced with a strong middle name. Cash Jonathan?

Just had a convosation with my friend who doesnt agree with carrying on names in the family as she thinks every child should have its own identity i on the other hand proberly do not think like that if you look at names in our family lol
my first son (8) is named jordan michael ... michael is the name of both his grandfathers
my husband of 4 years is called mchael as his dad and grandfather and great grandfather is and also his son from previous relationship is called michael. our 2 youngest children are both girls and they have middle names anne and sandra (both are names of relatives on both sides)
i have to agree it does get confusing lol what do u think????

We aren't yet expecting but we are trying for our second baby. I have been having crazy dreams about our children not having names and people calling them a and b. I know it is because my husband hates all the names I like. Here are some girl names I like Evelyn, Reagan, Kennedy, Shayna, and Lydia. Boys Leland, Landon, Dallan, Carson, Mason, and Carter. Our older sons are named Deaken Bruce Charles and Kail Alexander so we need something different. We like Thai and wanted to nickname him TJ but can't think of a J name we like so we want to name him Teejay instead. Teejay Donald(after my father)
