Perhaps think about a name that sounds like Perican such as Perry. Really unusual names sound rather nice at first but you must consider playground taunts and also how it sounds for an adult.

If it is a family name, use it as a middle name........but honestly, think of your child.....would you want to go thru school with that name? Even if Donald Trump named his kid Perican, there would be no mercy.

It sounds like some kind of canned meat product - oh, I'm thinking of pemmican; a concentrated food consisting of dried pulverized meat, dried berries, and rendered fat. MMMMM

If I were in grade school with a kid named Perican,
I would beat him up.
A lot!
So would everyone else, including the girls.
