I actually really love it. Most people I talk to hate it, but I think it's masculine and very cool. The lead singer of the band Van Halen has a son named Wolfgang Van Halen, I love that =)

No, that's not a good name...I think it's ugly. I would never name my child WOLFGANG...they are going to get made fun of

It's extremely European, specifically Austrian or German. In the U.S. it's very unusual.
If you have a German or Austrian surname (and you live in a place where it won't get your son beat up every day) maybe go for it, it's very classical and unusual. You could call him "Wolfie" for a pet name, like Constanze Mozart did with her husband.
I knew a German fellow named Wulf (pronounced Vulf) in Berlin who was one of the most drop-dead gorgeous human beings I ever met, so it has good associations for me.

In my opnion no, but thats me. I guess you have to take alot of things in mind when choosing something for your children. I mean kids can be crule because they always speak whats on their mind. He most likely will get teased alot at school and many kids aren't good at handleing teasing. So think about it.
