Hoping to be preggy soon after our miscarriage in May. Wishful thinking and jotting down names for both a little boy and girl. (I just asked a question about a little girls name). Now I need your opinion on a little boys name. I asked a few weeks ago about the names Bo & River... But my hubby is sticking to his guns that if we would have another boy his name would be Cash. Its unique. I sort of like it. I would like your opinion? Also... any suggestions you have on middle names. I thought about Cash Jonathan. (John is my fathers name). His initals would be C.J. I know a lot of ou do not like nick names or shortened names, but I find nothing wrong with them.
P.S. My sons name is Brody William. I like the balance of a not so popular, but unique name balanced with a strong middle name. Cash Jonathan?

lol.... I know... I thought of that too. Johnny Cash. Thats why I need some other suggestions of middle names. I love the two names together Cash Jonathan - but I don't want people to think of my son as a 'hick'... If we should have another son I would want him to have the same perfect flow of a strong, unique name for the little boy he is and the man he will be.

Trish:
We are very serious actually about the name Cash. Sorry if you do not like it. And as far as the name River goes and your thoughts on it. My 20 month old son's name is Brody. In Ireland a brody is a ditch or small stream. But here in my home Brody is a person I love with all my heart.

When I read "Cash" I immediately thought about Johnny Cash. I imagine that will come up quite a bit with or without being anchored to Jonathan but especially with. If you are fine with it then I'm sure Cash is a strong, unique name. I can picture him years down the road and he's talking to his friends and one says to another "I'll pay Cash" and Cash will say "What, you don't owe me anything." I can see that happening quite a bit.

I actually do like Cash, it's different. I love River, if I had a boy this was going to be his name, but I got a Delaney! I also like Bo. It seems like you're leaning more towards Cash, so if you like it go for it, I see nothing wrong with it. When we named our son Reiker we got a lot of crappy remarks but he's 3 now and the name suits him, I'm glad we didn't take other's opinions to heart. I can't imagine him having any other name. Good luck to you!

I LOVE the name Cash ((my hubby vetoed it)). I would have done Cash Bradley. I also like River for a boy, it's very strong. If you don't like Cash Bradley then what about...
Cash Andrew
Cash Joesph
Cash Hudson
Cash Alexander
Cash Michael
Cash Anthony
Cash Jeffrey

I like Cash Jonathan and C.J. for short - very nice and unique. Or you could go with Jonathan Cash and call him J.C. either way is nice and you are also incorporating a family name

My fiance's cousin has a son named Cassius and they call him Cash for short.
Cash is not something I would personally choose but I like Jonathan.
