I would say it could be a name. I would think of a boy if I heard it. I think it is cute and unique without be odd!

Hate it as a boys name.. like it as a girls name. I can't imagine a boy named Hadley... I would think he wouldn't like it.

One of my best friend's 5 yr old son is named Hadley. He is so cute. It fits him perfectly. He was named that after his father's middle name.

It is NOT a first name, according to the Oxford Concise Dictionary Of First Names. [I like to go straight to the experts.] It is a last name, and as such is considered a cute first name by some people, especially those who want to honor the mother's side or other ancestors by giving their baby a family name. It's also a road name near where I grew up.

Sounds like a better last name or a middle name for a boy.
