Ayden is the first name and Trace is the middle name. We picked Ayden right after we found out the sex of the baby. It means fire and he was moving around so much so we thought it would fit him perfectly.

Can't decide on a name for our daughter. We like Brynn because it is different and is nearly the reverse of mine (Elizabeth Lynne) but we like Lauren because it is really pretty and maybe sounds a little nicer with our last name - Woods, but is also more common than I would generally like. Brother's names are Garrett and Gavin. Please help us decide!

For my baby girl (I don't actually know yet, but I have a feeling)
1. Mariah Azhanique Bailey (I would call her Mu, or Moo-moo)
2. Chanel Azhanique Bailey (I would call her Nelly)
3. Danica Azhanique Bailey (I would call her Dani)
4. Noelle Azhanique Bailey (I would call her Noey)

What do you think, like one? Or have other suggesstions?

They are in order of my preferance, but I just wonder what the rest of you think?
Are they good names to leave a kid with for the rest of their life?

Less common, but not unusual. As in, I'm not going to want to use Phoenix or something. :)

I'm considering so far...
Noah
Sawyer
Mason
Preston
Hunter
...Feel free to critique these names, but also suggest different ones please.

My boys name:
Jack Christopher
...so, I don't want to use Jack or Christopher in this name. Thank you!

We have a daughter named Mercedes, she is 7 years old. Here's the catch ...... we are expecting our third child in 4 weeks and we LOVE the name Alexis. Honest opinion please. Do you think of two cars or did that not even come to mind until I brought it up?

Keep in mind they will be 7 years apart and not in school
together.

Thanks, my time is running out.

My husband is German, and all of the names I like, when he says them with German dialect, sound odd.

What should I do?

The reason I ask this again is because they cut so close and I am still so,so lost. I like Addisyn..it's cute and pretty but the meaning of Mattie is better. Is Mattie too 'juvenile'? I would be calling Addisyn Addi.. it is for a girl.. sorry for the confusion...
Addison means 'son of adam', which isn't so great for a girl, and Mattie means 'Lady. Strong.'

Scans indicate a boy and we're busy looking for a great first name. My wife loves the name NIGEL. I've always liked the name too but I'm concerned about the way the name gets used in the media and advetising. What do you think, is Nigel a good name for a little boy growing up in the UK?
