Ayden is the first name and Trace is the middle name. We picked Ayden right after we found out the sex of the baby. It means fire and he was moving around so much so we thought it would fit him perfectly.

Hmm.. at first I didn't like the way Ayden Trace sounded either.. But I think I like the Ayden part. Maybe Ayden Chance or Ayden Lee?

I love Aidan. Ayden is a horrible spelling though. I don't like Trace. It just isn't attractive to me. I would go with a more traditional middle name so Aidan doesn't seem so dated in a couple years.

Ayden is a very cute name, but with Trace, it sorta has to grow on you. I like both names- not sure it they go well together.

You're asking what we think about the name. The spelling is part of the name. I don't think it's fair to be angry about people telling you they don't like the spelling. Or, maybe I misread the tone of your addendum.
Anyway, I like Aiden ok, but it's used so much anymore. Ayden Trace sounds like a subdivision to me.

EDIT: It shouldn't matter how much you like the spelling, it creates a hassle for the child, and it makes you seem uneducated. Dont let arrogance create a problem for your son.

I think Ayden is kind of feminine sounding. What about Aidan? I also like Trey instead of Trace... Aidan Trey or Aidan Trace are both adorable! Good luck and God bless!

Sorry honey, but I'm with the crowd that thinks the spelling sucks. The middle name doesn't fit well either. I personally don't care for the name, but I do like the name Trace.
