I had a dream today about having twin girls. has anyone ever seen the name Mickayla? That is the name and the spelling for one of them. I think the other name was Aaliyah. What ya all think?

I am not pregnant and don't know if I can have anymore children. I had a lung removed in June, so it could be dangerous for me, not sure.

Those names will pinpoint the children as being born during the 2000s. Mickayla is a dime a dozen now.
I made the mistake of naming my 6 year-old Elia, which is pronounced like Aaliyah. I tell her now she should've been named Abba. She went through a 2-day phase where she made everybody call her Marina. Our other daughter is Greta.
So I like names that end in A but I don't prefer Mickayla or Aaliyah.

I think Mikayla means 'who is like God', but I never seen it spelled Mickayla. pretty name.
Aaliyah means Lofty and sublime
It might not mean anything I had dreams of giving birth and just dreams where I somehow had a baby. I don't have any kids. I remember one time I had one of those dreams after speaking to a close friend who thought and hoped she was pregnant and I thought the dream was telling me something but it was nothing but a false alarm. as a matter of fact she had a baby dream around that time and we both dreamed of a baby boy. I guess it was wishful dreaming.
Maybe your future baby girl want to be named Mickayla or Aaliyah. LoL

I have heard of Mickayla the girl from American Idol she is so cute. She is now working for Tyra Banks on the Tyra show. My sister's name is Aaliyah and I think both of the names are so cute. Perfect for twins.
Are you in fact having twins or was it just a dream

I don't personally like the name Mickayla because it's so valleygirl-ish and regular American. The other name Aaliya is more unique, but try these two other spellings: Alea and Aeliah.
Good Luck!

Michaela and all it's butchered spellings is seriously so boring now. It's overused and common. I'd pass.
Aaliyah is gorgeous, though definietly connected to the late singer. Not a bad person to be connected to, though :)
