I love indians, for I have Apache in my blood. My husband and I are into rodeo. I barrel Race and Team rope. My husband is a Bull and Bronc rider. My daughters names are: Apache-lynn Cheyenne and Eris Faylene. My son's name is Roper Dakotah. Eris was named by my oldest girl Apachelynn but still fits in with the names I already have going.. Kinda like Cowboy's and Indian's thing. Eris comes from the Greek name "Goddess of Chaos". Well, Cowboy's and Indian's, there was chaos.
So, I'm not finding out what I'm having on my last child, but want to keep the same motief going.. With maybe indian names or Country/ Rodeo names. Boy or Girl.. Help me!!!
My Dr. said "Remington" for a Boy or a girl cause it's a name of a gun and cowboy's used guns.. I'm in a stump!! Give me some ideas.

My friend is having a baby boy. She is deciding wether to give the child the name Alexander or Xander. If she chooses Alexander, she will call him Xander. Her husband wants to use Xander, so people FOR SURE call him that, but my friend wants a proper name, that will carry into adulthood. Whats peoples opinions? Also the middle names are between Alexander or Xander Mathew and Alexander or Xander Michael. Which sounds better? Thanks!!

I say if it's the same exact name as father, it's a junior. If it's the same exact name as my father-in-law (as in we skip a generation) then it's a II. I need clarification!

So I was watching a show on Giving Birth.. and I must admit, pushing a baby does NOT look hard at all. Maybe the fact that it's women doing the pushing, and men are naturally stronger and could do it quicker?

what the deal is with people wanting to give their children extremely unusual names (like Rylic or Jazzlyn. I once taught a class in which I had a Jarobin, Kolynta, Kizzie, and Cladeeca), or take normal names and change the spelling (like Aimie or Schad or Ahnghye-that's "Angie")? Or celebrities who name their children things like "Moxie Crimefighter" or "Kal-el." When I worked in the layaway department of a retail store, I once had a customer with a SILENT Q in the middle of her name. Is it from some misguided sense of wanting their child to be different? Do they not realize these poor kids will be spending the rest of their lives spelling and/or pronouncing their names for people? Why inflict that on someone?? I just absolutely do NOT get it.

I know a woman that named her kids Audrey, Grace, Eva, John, Julie and Maureen, for Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Eva Gabor, John Wayne, Julie Andrews, and Maureen O'Hara.. they were born in the 60s. Even though these are common names she had said that they were actually named after the actors. Have any stories like this?

I love traditional names like Victoria, Eva, Anna, and Theresa. I think they are beautiful and you'll never get sick of them (good for a baby and child and then mature for when they are older)

I'm about 10 weeks pregnant and we've already picked names... though those could change - since it'll be awhile before baby comes.

Tristan Mychael for a boy
Jasmine Nicole for a girl

I've also thought about making Mychael the more traditional spelling "Michael" and Jasmine, less traditional with Jazmine. Any thoughts or opinions? (and I've already heard enough arguments that people think Tristan is a girl name, so please don't go there)
I also have a 7 year old son who's name is Damon Scott, and a 5 year old daughter named Heaven Leigh.
